The lady of the sea

I run to greet the ocean
to grab the setting sun
hiding behind the waters
now that day is done

I follow the sea tides
taking me somewhere
floating out upon the currents
to where, I do not care

It is my form of freedom
the lady of the sea
no turning back now
just the sea, freedom and me

I live to explore its depths
the creatures here of all sizes
I'll still be here to greet
again, the sun as it rises
