The sunlight pulses through the trees
in streamers
the air borne with pine odor
and fresh autumn
the greenness is turning golden
here and there
plants discarding their summer blossoms
preparing for winter's coat
occasionally
a scurry of wilderness alive
you can feel the capacity of living
even in the damp warm earth
cause and effect
