Evolution is confusing me,
am I supposed to feel better,
before or after the pain?
When does it stop?
When does it go away?
Has growth been stunted?
This is no sweet resurrection,
no peace, no comfort,
waiting for time to bring
the scars that I'm told
are the clothes of healing...
