Trust
Trust is reliance upon the Divine for all sustenance and supply. A mental and emotional recognition and acceptance that the presence of the Divine as the ultimate good is all-powerful and everywhere present. We need to remember this.
There is a big difference between trusting somebody and putting your trust in somebody. When you trust someone, you recognize them as a representation of Divine energy. You see them in the highest light possible, knowing that no matter what they may do, it does not change who they are the core of their being.
It the same fashion nothing that happens to you can change who you are at the core of your being, deep in the depths of your soul. You are not reliant on people. You've learned to rely on the Divine Presence. In truth, our souls shine and lead the way.
When you put your trust in someone it means that you expect them to do what they say they will do, which is usually something that you should be doing for yourself. Trusting in someone usually means that there is something they have that you believe you need, or something you have that you believe they can take away to cause you harm.
You place your reliance on words or promised action rather than the Divine, knowing full well that humans are subject to irrational responses to fear, guilt, and/or shame. People can't see reality. So, why do we place our trust in one another?
Why? Because we forget to acknowledge the Divine Presence in all our life's experiences. Even when we do and our trust is betrayed, we blame those we trusted rather than embracing the experience as a lesson of the Divine.

Our Purpose
When we align our will with God's our existence becomes effortless and the universe provides. And so I have found it to be. What joy my life is now and I have oh so far to go yet. I have surrendered and it is bliss. I feel a freedom I have never experienced before and yet I still have debris to clear.
The more fully we know ourselves, the more accepting we become of our individual imperfections, the greater the light. For only through acknowledgement can we expand and grow and create. We are here to serve God through our individual experiences. That is our purpose.
Everything that exists is love including ourselves and yet we are least accepting of self as being love. God commands that we love ourselves and others as ourselves. There is the oneness of God within you, how can you deny that oneness of love?
Bring it out of the darkness of doubt and into the light of humility that we as His children are part of all-that-is and are therefore love. Live love, be love, therefore you can give love physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
To not find ourselves loving is the illusion. For to deny ourselves is to deny God. It is an unbreakable connection - it just is as God just is. Accept it.

Give in love
I do want to live a life where the contributions I make, the work that I do, the purpose I am serving, will have a lasting effect on humanity. I do want to be remembered. I do want to be cherished. I do want to know love. These are the rewards of service.
You may never know in this lifetime how your work and contributions made in love affect people. However, when you give service, this is not your concern. You do what you do because you love to do it.
Whatever you love will touch somebody. Even one person calling your name, singing your praises, honoring what you do is more than many people ever get in this life.
Service is a spiritual principle, it does not imply or import poverty. Most of us think that if you serve, giving of yourself without focusing on the money, you will be poor. We are taught that if you work hard and give your best, you should be richly rewarded.
There is a problem with this line of thinking. If you think of your work as service, if you do it with love, if you value yourself and your position, the rewards will come in many other ways. Where there is hate, there cannot be love. Where there is no love, there is no service.
Do what you love! Do it with passion! Do it with the understanding that if you are never rewarded with money or recognized by the public, you are making a valuable contribution to yourself. Shift your focus from money to love. When you have love, you want to give yourself for the sake of love.
In giving for the sake of love, the impersonal, immutable, perfect laws of the universe demand that you must be rewarded tenfold. Stop worrying about survival! You will survive! Understand that when you serve, when you give to the universe it is multiplied, and you will be rewarded.
You will be taken care of. Do not measure your value and worth by the external standards of the world. Do not compare yourself and what you do in love to what anyone else is dong. If you wait for someone to tell you that you are great and to reward you for that greatness, and it never happens, you may convince yourself that you are living a worthless existence.
You are divine. There's a great deal of worth in your divinity. You must love your divine self enough to know that everything you must do must be an act of love. Giving of your divine self in the name of love is the highest honor.

I was wrong
There have been times when I knew exactly what needed to be done to bring resolution to a conflict I was in the midst of, the end to an unbearable situation, clarity at a time of confusion and chaos.
I knew what to do but wasn't willing to do it. I was afraid of the outcome. I was not willing to take the first step, particularly if I could not see where that step would lead, or if I was afraid of where it might lead.
I was not willing to run the risk of being wrong. I was not willing or prepared to defend myself if I were challenged. I was in resistance. I gave into fear. And I was wrong. Faith has taught me that.
