I know that many of yesterday's
hurts... and disappointments
separate you from me
but it could have been
so right... and it was
beautiful...
for a short time
I haven't weakened
in what I feel for you...
under all the pain
somewhere....
love is still the answer...
for what is in my heart
beats truer
than all the logic in the world...
and is still
just as intense
though time
and distance
separate us...
and who knows
