My cards I meant to send
I worked on them for days
each one filled with fading love
for those so far far away
across the bridge of time when
these holidays we would share
when being together was enough
My cards pile up more and more
with each and every passing occasion
I can't seem to manage time anymore
it's forgetting and not procrastination
