Kissed with sunlight

The snow is alternating with rain, and turning to slush on the ground and melting off the driveway even though the air is quite frigid and requires gloves and hat outdoors. No need to shovel under these conditions and the snow plow has been making regular runs, but there is not a lot on the road to create a berm except wheat he dislodges from the old piles and leaves on my driveway.

Evening brings a magnificent sunset of charcoal colored clouds, glowing where they've been kissed with sunlight. The sky turns crimson and shines down upon the mountains and trees. This gift of nature my blessing for the day.
